911 Emergency Services
The ETCOG 911 Regional
Program was formed by legislature and seeks to establish and maintain equipment, network, and database to preserve and enhance public safety through reliable access to emergency telecommunication services in a 10 county
East Texas region.
Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Program has been designated by the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division (CJD) as the responsible entity for Criminal Justice Planning in our 14-county region.
We provide services that facilitate the effective planning, implementation and assessment of regional criminal justice initiatives.
Homeland Security
The ETCOG Homeland Security staff are here to assist the region's jurisdictions in Emergency Management Planning, Hazard Mitigation Planning and administration of the Department of Homeland Security grant funding. We provide assistance and support to local counties, city governments and first responders while formulating a regional strategy to address a disaster or major incident whether it is a natural act or man made.
